Description:
Cosmocaine Plus is a mixture of two local anesthetics ;lidocaine and prilocaine.
INDICATIONS :
Cosmocaine Plus produces a numbing effect which allows performing minor procedures with a complete or significant reduction of pain. These procedures can include taking blood samples ,vaccination ,and skin grafting ,cleaning leg ulcers ,inset intravenous catheter ,minor superfacial cosmetic procedures and procedures on genital skin.
MECHANISM OF ACTION :
Lidocaine and Prilocaine are local anesthetics produce reversible loss of function or sensation by preventing or diminishing the conduction of nerve impulses near the site of application. Because their mode of action is to decrease the permeability of the nerve cell membraine to sodium ions ,their also have a membrane stabilizing effect.
STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Cosmocaine Plus cream should be stored below 30°C, do not freeze.
