COMPOSITION :

D – ONCE 1000: Each capsule contains 25 μg Colecalciferol (1000 IU Vitamin D3).

D – ONCE 5000: Each capsule contains 125 μg Colecalciferol (5000 IU Vitamin D3).

D – ONCE 20000: Each capsule contains 500 μg Colecalciferol (20000 IU Vitamin D3).

Therapeutic indications:

For treatment and prevention of vitamin D deficiency.

As an adjunct to specific therapy for osteoporosis in patients with vitamin D deficiency or at risk of vitamin D insufficiency. Vit – D is indicated for adolescents and adults.

Dosage and administration:

Adult:

• Vit D – 1000:

Treatment of vitamin D deficiency: 1 – 4 capsules (1000 – 4000 IU) daily for 10 weeks dependent upon the severity of the disease and the patients response to treatment.

• Vit D – 20000:

Treatment of vitamin D deficiency: 40 000 IU every week.

Prevention of vitamin D deficiency: 20 000 IU every 4 weeks (1 capsule).

• Vit D – 5000: 1 capsule daily or weekly

D – 5000: 1 capsule daily or weekly.

Adolescent Posology (over 12 years):

Treatment of vitamin D deficiency or insufficiency in children over 12 years: 1 Capsule (1000 IU) daily depending on the severity of the disease and the patient s response to treatment. It should only be given under medical supervision.
